What is Satya Yuga and how did it get started?

The true age in Hinduism and Yoga philosophy is the first age of the world cycle, or age. It is considered the golden age where humanity is righteous and free from evil. This is the age of truth, virtue and righteousness; And when everyone practices yoga for spiritual understanding.

Following the Satya Yuga, humanity gradually descends into the less enlightened age until the earth is purified and the cycle begins anew with the Satya Yuga. Most Hindu scholars believe that we are now in the fourth and last age, the Kali Yuga.

You will be surprised to know that Satyuga lasted for 17,28,000 years, this era stood on four legs and in this era the length of man was 32 feet, along with this the age of a person was one lakh years in this era.  There was no sinner in this age, that is, the percentage of sin was 0, while the graph of virtue was 100 percent.  In this era, gems were used in the form of currency and the vessel was gold.

• The First Avatar of Lord Vishnu: The Story of Matsya Avatar

 Story of King Satyavrata

At the end of the Kalpa, a great king Satyavrat used to rule, who was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and a follower of Dharma.  One day after taking a bath in the morning, he was offering water to the Sun God in the river.  Then while taking water in hand, a small fish also came in it.  When they started putting the fish back in the sea, that fish started talking to the king.

The fish begged the king not to release it back into the sea.  If they release it back into the sea, big fish will eat it.  He said that he had heard that King Satyavrat is very liberal, so he should keep him safe with him.  Hearing this, King Satyavrat was very pleased and told that fish that his palace is very big and that small fish will live there comfortably.

After this, King Satyavrat came to his palace with that fish and ordered the soldiers to keep that fish in a gold vessel.  As soon as he put that fish in that vessel, it grew in size, making the vessel small for him.  Seeing this, the fish requested the king to keep it in a big vessel.

King Satyavrat also ordered a big vessel for fish without delay and kept it in that vessel.  After some time that vessel also became small for the fish because now it was bigger than before.  Seeing this, King Satyavrat was surprised but he ordered another big vessel for him and got it put in it.  After some time, when that vessel also became small, an even bigger vessel was ordered.

The king was astonished to see this and realized his mistake.  He told the fish that he had arrogantly called him an insignificant creature and now he has realized that this palace is too small for him.  That is why the king apologized to that fish with folded hands and again left it in the sea.

• Story of Kurma Avatar

According to Hindu religious texts, Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Kurma (turtle) and helped in churning the ocean.  Kurma Avatar of Lord Vishnu is also called Kachhap Avatar.

In the year 2019, Kurma Jayanti is being celebrated on 18 May.  Kurma Jayanti is celebrated on the full moon day of Vaishakh month.  According to mythological beliefs, on this day Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of Kachhap (tortoise).  Along with this, during the churning of the ocean, he had kept the Mandar mountain on his back.

Its story is as follows- Once Maharishi Durvasa cursed Indra, the king of the gods, to make him shriveled.  When Indra went to Lord Vishnu, he asked him to churn the ocean.  Then Indra agreed to churn the ocean along with the demons and deities as instructed by Lord Vishnu.

For churning the ocean, Mandarachal mountain was made Mathani and Nagraj Vasuki was made the leader.  The gods and the demons, forgetting their differences, uprooted Mandarachal and carried it towards the sea, but they could not take it far.  Then Lord Vishnu placed Mandarachal on the beach.  The gods and demons put Mandarachal in the sea and made Nagraj Vasuki the leader.

But due to no base under Mandarachal, he started drowning in the sea.  Seeing this, Lord Vishnu assumed the form of a giant Kurma (turtle) and became the base of Mandarachal in the sea.  Mandarachal started moving fast on the huge back of Lord Kurma and thus the churning of the ocean was completed.

• Story of Varaha Avatar

 Varaha Avatar ki katha/kahani
Varaha Avatar is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.  There is a beautiful story of his incarnation.  By the way, the incarnation of God takes place due to many reasons.  But killing Asuros and establishing Dharma is the main task of God.

There were Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu.  Both of them did penance for Brahma.  Lord Brahma was pleased with his penance.  He appeared and said, 'I am pleased with your penance.  Ask for a boon, what do you want?

Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu replied, Lord, give us such a boon, so that no one can defeat us in battle and no one of the human race can kill.'  Brahmaji went to his world saying 'Tathastu'.

They thought that we have become immortal, they will do whatever comes to mind.  He started considering himself as the best among the three worlds.  Even Lord Vishnu started considering him as lesser than himself.  Hiranyaksha became proud and thought of conquering the three worlds.  He reached Indraloka with a mace in his hand.  When the gods got the news of his arrival, they were frightened and fled from Indraloka.  Indraloka was captured by Hiranyaksha.  When no one could be found to fight in Indraloka, Hiranyaksha reached the city of Vibhavari, the capital of Varuna.  He appeared before Varun and said, Varun Dev, you.  He performed the Rajasuya Yagya by defeating the demons.

You have to defeat me today.  Get ready, quench my thirst for war.

Hearing about Hiranyaksha, anger arose in Varun's mind, but he suppressed him from within.  He said very calmly, 'You are a great warrior and a warrior.  Where do I have the courage to fight you?  There is no one in the three worlds except Lord Vishnu who can fight with you.  So go to them.  He alone will pacify your war cravings.'

After listening to Varun Dev, the demon went to the deity Narada and asked the address of Narayan.  Devarshi Narada told him that at this time Narayan, taking the form of a Varaha, has gone to take the earth out of the abyss.  On this Hiranyaksha reached the abyss.  There he saw Lord Varaha bringing the earth by placing it on his molar.

That great monster said to Lord Varaha, "O wild animal! Where have you come from in the water? Foolish animal! Where are you taking this earth? Brahma ji has given it to us.  I cannot take this earth from the abyss while I am. You are the enemy of demons and demons, so today I will kill you."  Sometimes he would call them shameless, sometimes cowards and sometimes elusive, but Lord Vishnu would only smile.

He came out of the abyss and set the earth over the sea.  Hiranyaksha was following them.  His words and arrows were piercing his heart.  Lord Vishnu brought the earth full of water and then paid attention to Hiranyaksha.

But Hiranyaksha was still being abusive to God.  God got angry now.  God said that one has to talk about useless things or even comes to fight.  I am standing in front of you.  Why don't you attack me?  Go ahead, attack me.

Lightning ran in Hiranyaksha's veins.  He broke down on Lord Vishnu with a mace in his hand.  There was no weapon in the hands of God.  The very next moment he snatched the mace from Hiranyaksha's hand and threw it away.  Hiranyaksha got so angry that he swung towards Lord Vishnu with a trident in his hand.  A fierce battle started between Lord Varaha and Hiranyaksha.
Soon after Lord Vishnu called for Sudarshan, the wheel came into his hands.  He cut Hiranyaksha's trident into pieces with his wheel.  Hiranyaksha started using his Maya.  Sometimes he would appear, sometimes he would hide, sometimes he would laugh, sometimes he would cry in horror, sometimes he would rain blood, sometimes he would rain bones.  Lord Vishnu was going on destroying all his illusory activities.
When Lord Vishnu had made Hiranyaksha dance a lot, he put a slap on his forehead.  His eyes came out from that slap.
He fell to the ground and became unconscious and in the end Hiranyaksha was killed by Lord Varaha.

As soon as Lord Varaha got the victory, all the deities including Brahma ji started praising him by showering flowers from the sky.

• Story of Narasimha Avatar

Narsingh Avatar is the fourth incarnation among the Dashavatars of Lord Vishnu.  It is also called Narsingh Avatar, in which half of his body was of a lion and half of a human (Narsingh Avatar Ki Katha).  The main purpose of this incarnation was to kill the demon Hiranyakashipu, the symbol of unrighteousness, and to protect his devotee Prahlad and make him sit on the throne.

This incarnation of Lord Vishnu is so destructive (Bhagwan Narasimha Avatar Story In Hindi) was that his devotee Prahlad himself was also afraid of this.  Then Lord Shiva had to pacify him by taking Sharabh avatar.  Today we will give you complete introduction of Narasimha avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Narsingh Avatar Story of Lord Vishnu taking Narasimha Avatar

Lord Brahma's boon to Hiranyakashyap (Hiranyakashyap Ka Vardan)
There was a mighty demon Hiranyakashipu in Satyuga.  He had obtained a wonderful boon by doing penance for Lord Brahma for many hundreds of years, according to which he could not be killed by any creature created by Lord Brahma.  According to this, he should not be killed neither inside nor outside his house, neither in day nor night, neither on land nor in sky, neither by weapon nor by weapon, neither by man nor by animal.  could.
On receiving this boon, he became very powerful and there was no one to defeat him in the three worlds.  As a result of this boon, he became the king of heaven, earth and Hades.  He declared himself as God and refused to believe in Vishnu.

Devraj Indra was deposed from the heavenly world and adharma was established in the earth world also.  Religion started getting destroyed everywhere and sages started getting killed but it is said that God is present everywhere and makes everyone feel his power.

Hiranyakashipu, who had become the king of the three worlds and had declared himself a god, in his own house his son Prahlad turned out to be the greatest devotee of Lord Vishnu.  Now what could be the bigger plight of that king than this that because of whose fear people in all the three worlds were afraid to take the name of Vishnu, only the son of the same king used to chant the name of Vishnu and Vishnu day and night.

  The story of Prahlad Maharaj

Even after Hiranyakashipu was unrighteous, a devotee of Vishnu himself was born in his house, who was his youngest son Prahlad.  Prahlad was a devotee of Lord Vishnu since childhood and was absorbed in his devotion.  When he was only five years old, many attempts were made by his father Hiranyakashipu to kill him.
These efforts include throwing Prahlad in a snake-filled prison, trying to crush him under the feet of elephants, throwing him into a ditch down a mountain, slicing his body with weapons, attempting to burn it in a fire, etc.
The surprising thing was that whenever he tried to kill his son, Prahlad would start chanting the name of Shri Hari.  After that Lord Vishnu himself would come to protect him but he is not visible to anyone.  Then one day Hiranyakashipu's atrocities on Lord Vishnu's devotee Prahlad ended and Lord Vishnu took the fierce Narasimha avatar, let's know.

Lord Vishnu taking Narasimha avatar

By the way, Lord Vishnu was soft-tempered and patient. For this reason, every time he was protecting the life of his devotee Prahlad peacefully and without anger (Bhagwan Narsingh Ki Katha), but seeing such atrocities on his little devotee, his anger was gradually increasing. One day that pitcher of anger broke out and Narasimha Avatar, a very terrible form of Lord Vishnu, was born.

When all attempts by Hiranyakashipu to kill Prahlad failed, he in anger asked his son that if Lord Vishnu is present everywhere, is he even in the front pillar. On this Prahlad said that Shri Hari is present in every particle, so he is also in the front pillar. Hearing this, Hiranyakashipu got angry and broke that pillar.

As soon as the pillar broke, a loud roar was heard (Narsingh Bhagwan Ki Katha) and Lord Vishnu came out in his Narasimha avatar. The upper half of his body was that of a lion and the lower half of a human. He was hissing loudly due to which there was an outcry around. All the soldiers were horrified to see this terrible form of him.

Killing of Hiranyakashyap

Narasimha Avatar made a horrific attack on Hiranyakashipu and dragged him to the threshold of his building. He made Hiranyakashyap sit on his thighs and with the help of his big nails, cut his stomach and took out the intestines. Thus Lord Narasimha killed Hiranyakashipu. But how did Lord Vishnu fail the boon given to him? Let's go

When Lord Narasimha killed Hiranyakashipu, it was neither day nor night, but it was evening;  They hit him neither inside the building nor outside but on the threshold of it;  They neither hit him on the ground nor in the sky but by sitting on his lap, neither did he hit him with a weapon nor with a weapon but with his nails.  Along with this, the incarnation of Lord Narasimha was neither human, nor animal nor any sur-asura;  Nor was he created by Lord Brahma.  Thus he failed Hiranyakashipu's boon and killed him.
