Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is one of the few texts in the world, which is still the most read today and gives inspiration to follow the deeds and rules on the path of life.
Bhagavad Gita is a part of the great Hindi epic Mahabharat. The holy scripture is set in a narrative framework of dialogue between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide and charioteer Lord Krishna.
In about 700 verses of its 18 chapters, the solution of every problem is found, which at one time or the other arises in front of every human being. If we study its verses daily, then we can solve every problem that comes without any help.
"कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन |
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ||
karmaṇy-evādhikāras te mā phaleṣhu kadāchana
mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo ’stvakarmaṇi
You have a right over your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction."
• Do not have the desire for fruit while doing action
Lord Shri Krishna says (to Arjun) that you have the right to do your work, never think about its fruits. Therefore, do not act thinking of the fruit, nor do you think why should I act without expecting the result.
The meaning of what Lord Krishna is saying to Arjuna is that one should perform his duties with full devotion and honesty without wanting for fruit. If the desire for fruit is there in the mind while doing the work, then you will not be able to do that work with full devotion, only selfless action gives the best results. Therefore, without desiring any fruit, one should continue to do his work diligently. Leave all these things to God to give, not to give and how much to give because God is the sustainer of all.
• Control on anger
It is written in the Gita that anger creates confusion, confusion disturbs the intellect. When the intellect is disturbed, then logic is destroyed. When arguments are destroyed, the downfall of a person begins.
• If you control your mind, you will get happiness
The person who does not do yoga, that person does not even have the intellect to decide and does not have any feelings towards anyone in his mind. Such a person does not get both peace and happiness.
Every person wants that he is happy. He wanders in search of happiness. But, the root of happiness lies in his mind. A person whose mind is engrossed in the senses, wealth, lust and laziness, then that person cannot have feelings. That's why it is very important to control your mind to get happiness.
• Peace is achieved by following duty
The person who renounces all desires and desires and performs duties without mind and ego, only he gets peace.
Lord Krishna says that if there is any desire or desire in one's mind, then one cannot get peace. We start seeing the expected result together with the action we do. The desire for the result of our choice starts to weaken us day by day. By eliminating the feelings of love or ego, etc., in the mind, peace is attained only by performing the duties diligently.
• Follow your religion
Do your work according to your religion as prescribed in the scriptures, because it is better to do action than not to do it, and if you do not do work, your body will not be able to survive.
Shri Krishna says that every human being should do his work while following his own religion. For example, the dharma of a student is to acquire knowledge, the duty of a soldier is to protect the country, those who do not act are superior to those who do. Because without doing karma, the maintenance of the body is not possible. The person whose duty is fixed should continue to be followed.
• We will be treated the same way
Lord Shri Krishna says that the way a person worships me, according to his desire, I give the fruit to him. Everyone follows my path in every way.
Through this verse, Lord Krishna says that the person who behaves in the world with others, others also behave in the same way
with him. For example, those who remember God to attain salvation, they attain salvation. Those who remember GOD with any other desire, those desires also get fulfilled by GOD's grace. Kansa always remembered Shri Krishna as death. Therefore, Shri Krishna granted death. We should also remember God in the same way as we want to attain the form.
" पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः।
patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ
yo me bhaktyā prayacchati
tad ahaṁ bhakty-upahṛtam
aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ
"If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit, or water, I will accept it."
